Welcome to My World of Yarn and ADHD!
Hello Everyone! I’m Dot, your goofy friend who is always crocheting, and I really mean always! Whether you’re here to find new crochet reccomendations or just to enjoy some crafty tales, I’m thrilled to have you!
A bit about me — I’m a crafter, diagnosed with ADHD, and I love to make cute and/or useful things with yarn. From amigurumi to afghans, my crochet hooks are always making something! But there’s more to my story than just yarn. Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I’ve discovered that crochet is more than just a hobby; it’s a way to focus my mind and soothe my soul. It’s my form of meditation, my escape, and my joy.
I’ll share everything from the basics of crochet for beginners to more complex patterns for seasoned stitchers. Expect tips, tutorials, and tales from my own crochet adventures. But that’s not all—you’ll also get a glimpse into how crocheting can be a therapeutic journey for those of us with ADHD.
So, grab your hooks and yarn, and get ready to be inspired. Whether you’re looking to start your first stitch or finish a long-overdue project, I’m here to help and encourage you every step of the way. Let’s make something beautiful together!
Stay tuned, and happy crocheting!
